Saturday, July 24 - Saskatoon - the second event of the WCSLMC Series and another FULL MOON!!! We had spent three weeks before re-working the front suspension geometry to improve our lap times, which it did, but not as much as we had hoped for. We qualified 13th again of 19 cars. On a caution restart at lap102, another car tried to make it three wide on the bottom into the first corner and spun us backwards into the concrete wall ending our night.
At this point, the damage is quite bad and we don't know if we can make repairs in time for the next race on Aug 14. Our main emphasis will be for the TCU Financial Group 150 in Regina on August 28.

Saturday, June 26 - Saskatoon- first Dakota Dunes Super Late Model Challenge Series event- 23 cars, one broke in practice, we qualified 13th and finished in 13th, FORTUNATELY! There was a full moon which historically in Saskatoon brings out the worst and this night was no exception. We narrowly avoided at least four crashes in front of us that beat up cars pretty bad, including one ending up on its roof. The worst though was on the way home, at 2 to 4 am, we must have hit a skunk with the trailer so Sunday was spent with the car at the carwash! As for the trailer and the neighbours, I can blame it on the pet skunk one of them has.
